The Perfect Sip
We were approached to develop an ecosystem for The Perfect Sip, a company that developed a new business model around the way people purchase and enjoy wine. By delivering great value, world-exclusive offerings, education and entertainment, they aim to provide an immersive and social community around wine. The website has to achieve two key things: it has to operate like a normal online wine shop, and also entice users to become wine curators. The companion app, on the other hand, is exclusively for wine curators. It lets them track their sales, see progress towards goals, and learn new ways to educate others about the exclusive wines. From their basic guidelines, we developed a sophisticated vision for what this service needed to be: it had to be personal, educational, easy, and ever-evolving. I was tasked with making the website a frictionless and enticing experience geared toward multiple types of users.
